For the last few days the BBC Iplayer app on my 2000T won't load: it stays stuck on the 'loading' page. I've made no changes to any settings that I'm aware of. BBC News and BBC Sport apps work fine (as do other non-BBC apps). Is anyone else having similar problems? Any suggestions to fix? thanks. Stuart
Once you do the sign in you then stay signed in for up to two years. You don't have to do it every time you watch an iPlayer show. Sign In is required by the BBC across the iPlayer on connected devices, not just the V6. BBC iPlayer is currently accessible on all devices with our UK servers. To use BBC iPlayer's Download feature, you should connect to one of these UK servers: # 1840-1847, 1850-1863, 1865, 1869, 1873, 1875-1878, 1880-1881, 1900-1901, 1903-1904, 1911, 1913, 1917, 1919-1920. Same here, as of ~1 April iPlayer does not work, I just get a black screen, so obviously something at the BBC end not being compatible with the Sony TV App. Sony only install meagre memory on their TVs and hence the message. BBC iplayer worked fine on my lapptop, and when viewed directly on my smart TV. The problems of buffering did not occur with any other player - just BBC iplayer. I received great support from BT through this forum and the problem was eventually resolved by replacing the BT HomeHub 4 by HomeHub 6.
