Looking at the FreshTomato site, I found a download directory that lists a number of Linksys E-series routers. It appears to jump from the E2500 to the E3200.
Jan 21, 2017 · So, this is not the Linksys E4200 that I had before. Not only is the hardware different (and thus not DD-WRT supported) the firmware it does have is completely broken. The firmware's parental controls are unusable. I can confirm with 100% certainty that the E4200 V2 N900 router is MARVEL 88W8063 a/b/g/n -- chipset I would post pictures but this is under patent security from the fcc until 1/23/12 So this means get your V 1. before the stores switch it if you want to run dd-wrt

I strongly recommend Tomato for E4200 at this time as it appears that its not a device thats an area of focus for DD-WRT developers. It is sad that the DD-WRT folks are not working to resolve the issues with this router that uses the more powerful Broadcom chipset.
